I can’t get enough of this structured dress!
I can’t believe it’s already May and Mother’s Day is just over a week away. Right around this time of year it finally starts to warm up and actually feel like spring which is one of the best times of year. I wanted to share a couple of ideas for what to wear for Mother’s Day. I love to get a little bit more dressed up to celebrate my mom. Mother’s Day Always evokes a more feminine vibe and I can’t think of anything better to wear than a pretty spring dress. There are so many that I am loving right now. From this laid-back more casual option to this structured mini, I’ve found myself stocking up on a dress for every occasion. This flirty yellow dress has a slightly retro vibe to it – which is perfect for this time of year and into summer. I paired it with my favorite straw tote and my go-to summer wedges for an easy casual look. This cold shoulder floral mini is one of my latest obsessions. The structured silhouette makes it look more expensive than it is. In fact when Phil asked me if it was expensive I told him it was four times more than it actually was because I totally thought it was! Usually I’m trying to conceal the price tag of my purchases, but in this case I even tricked myself! This dress is perfect for Mother’s Day, but it would also be great for a special occasion like a shower or summer wedding.
